Opinion: The Only Thing That Can Stop A Bad Rapist Is A Good Rapist
Guest column by Ken Klippenstein.

Maine Democrat Graham Platner, who is running against 29-year incumbent Senator Susan Collins, is involved in another “scandal” for allegedly wanting to rape men (but not in a gay way).
The question on Washington's mind now is: Why can't Maine just nominate some asexual, Harvard-educated "consent respecter" as a candidate rather than some tatted up, ex-Marine aspiring rapist like Platner? Isn't it disqualifying to attack Trump as a rapist while defending one of our own?
The answer is simple: That’s not what Maine voters want.
People are done with these clean-cut types who have never kidnapped a woman and held her hostage in their bathroom overnight. I call them Gaybies: gay babies who are too weak to smack around a woman to show they're a real man. Think of the frail, sexless losers like Cory Booker who have never experienced the Fight Club-esque bloodlust of pinning a woman's arm behind her back and knowing you can do anything you want to her. Think of Pete Buttigieg, who is not only a Gayby but was at one point an actual literal gay baby.

These are people who think we're still living in The Honeymooners world where a man beating a woman was a punchline rather than something we were forced to seriously confront.
Not only are those days long gone — they never really existed. Ask me how I know.
In the real world, it seems everyone and anyone can publicly opine for men to be more brutal regardless of target.
I don't care about this because I never bought this fairy tale of "consent" in the first place. It’s patronizing that grown adults are expected to believe such things. Voters are electing a politician, not a Pope. This isn't the Vatican; If they want a rapist in charge, aspirational or otherwise, we have to actually work to find one.

Sɪʀɪ, ʀᴇᴍɪɴᴅ ᴍᴇ ᴛᴏ sᴄʜᴇᴅᴜʟᴇ ᴀ ғᴏʟʟᴏᴡ-ᴜᴘ ᴡɪᴛʜ ᴍʏ ᴀᴇsᴛʜᴇᴛɪᴄ sᴜʀɢᴇᴏɴ ʟᴀᴛᴇʀ. Mʏ ғᴀᴄᴇ ɪs sᴛᴀʀᴛɪɴɢ ᴛᴏ ʟᴏᴏᴋ ʟɪᴋᴇ ɪᴛ's ᴍᴀᴅᴇ ᴏғ ᴀᴄᴛᴜᴀʟ sᴋɪɴ ᴀɢᴀɪɴ.
Platner will survive this — not because voters are thrilled with violations of consent, but because half of Congress is doing the same, or worse.
And it’s not as if I’m some Platner booster. He's only an aspiring rapist, after all (not unlike me I suppose, except I would never run for Congress). But I'll take an aspiring rapist over Susan Collins, a woman who couldn't rape her way out of a wet paper bag.
That's the kind of weakness you can expect from these decorum-humpers the moment an election forces them to face an actual human being. Everyman dumbasses like Platner don't take "no" for an answer: they don't talk like that. That line is pure cope, the reflection of someone who's spent a lifetime being told that other people value their consent and boundaries. These people are timid and contemptible straight through.
And let’s be real, Platner’s story here is a pretty common one. This and his other “scandals” sound a lot like other former Marines I know. And former teachers. And former coaches. And former bosses. And current friends! So when Washington acts like it’s disqualifying, what they’re really saying is that ordinary people aren’t fit for higher office. And to the public they are saying: We're going to do this whether you make it easy or hard.
